When any new development is considered in Woodchurch, your Parish Council has the opportunity to request a S106 agreement between the applicant seeking planning permission and the Local Planning Authority (Ref www.gov.uk/guidance/planning-obligations). The agreement provides for a legal framework to secure both financial and non-financial contributions from a development. Projects usually focus on additional infrastructure to support new housing growth (e.g., sports buildings, recreational sites, spaces, improvements to services, etc). Once a sum has been requested (based on evidence) it can then only be spent on that specific project.

To this end, your Parish Council is currently developing a register of potential S106 projects and would like to invite the residents of Woodchurch to submit suitable project suggestions.
